CNGCC Wedding Featured in Brides & Wedding of Northern VA Mag!

What a way to finish up the 2016 year then to find out that one of our weddings was FEATURED in Brides & Weddings of Northern Virginia! We are completely honored and couldn’t be more thankful that the couple chosen was the wonderful, Rebecca & Mike! From start to finish, this couple was a delight to work with. No matter what happened, their love for each other was strong and true and we couldn’t be happier for the two of them. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Mr. & Mrs. Foxworthy 10.1.16

Working with Erin and Patrick was a joy from the day we met.  They’re both smart, hilarious, loving and talented. Patrick actually handmade all the gold terrariums centerpieces that you’ll see in the photo collage below. If I’m right, it was a DIY project found by Erin on Pinterest, that seemed fun and easy like most Pinterest projects. I believe they were done in a flash, a very extended flash 😜 haha!  They honestly were gorgeous.

A lot of times, we really get to start knowing our couples a little better at the tastings and that was very true for Erin & Patrick and you know what, we had a blast! Their personalities and their love for each other is unconditional.  They had a goal, they knew what they wanted and we figured out how to make it happen. The way Erin and Patrick communicate with each other is the definition of team work. Their individual personalities, which are different in certain ways, make them an absolutely perfect couple because when they are together, they radiate love, honesty and happiness.

The thing they both have in common is how sincere they both are and how much they care about others. They thought of every person who was coming to their wedding. If a family member needed or wanted a certain item, Erin and Patrick would ensure they would have that so everyone would have an unforgettable night. They’re organized and take effective notes so that details are taken care of….and yeahhhhh, maybe sometimes their notes were found after the tasting at their table, but that’s what scanners are for and I blame that part on the wine 😜.

Erin and Parick – Congratulations and thank you for sharing your journey with us. It was an honor and a pleasure for us all.

Thankful for You All!

We have so many things to be thankful for this year, it’s honestly hard to choose just one thing. This may sound a little silly but today we are thankful that our blog is working again! Our blog was down for almost a FULL week because of technical difficulties. SO we are thankful we are back up and running 🤓🖥! We have so many fun, gorgeous and beautiful posts to share, we can’t wait to get back on schedule.

But most importantly, we are thankful for all of you. From the entire Chantilly National Team, we do hope that all of our family, friends, members, clients and coworkers had a very Happy Thanksgiving with their loved ones! 🦃🍁

Mr. & Mrs. Barthold 7.2.16

On July 2, 2016 Danielle and Patrick were married at a St. Timothy Catholic Church located in Chatilly, VA.  Following the ceremony, the reception was held here at Chantilly National Golf & Country Club.

Patrick, Danielle and Danielle’s mom, Claire, were very organized and knew exactly what they wanted; especially the day, July 2nd. They toured the venue while we were still in the construction stage. So Danielle and Patrick were our “last” couple who booked before we reopened the Ballroom doors. So when their wedding started to approach, it was a little bittersweet for me because the couples who were there with us during the construction, they had now ALL come and were now ALL married.  Patrick and Danielle were the last couple that knew the before and after – how fast does time fly.  But like I said, it was bitterSWEET because they were getting married so we were ALL very excited to see all the hard work come together.

Danielle and Patrick are a couple that you look at and see that they are perfect – both confident and both know what they want, which in turn, was a reflected on their day of celebration and love.  The day would NOT have been possible without Claire, Danielle’s mother.  She was so great at making sure all the details were taken care of, but not only that, she was just there, 100%, for all of it.  (She may need to make it a side job b/c she was that good, haha!). I really will miss working with this family. Congratulations to the two of you and your family and friends.

Holiday’s are Coming!

Jessica with Main Street Linen came by the club last week to show off some of their winter line and we couldn’t be more excited! We hope that all of our upcoming winter events choose one of these linen themes (centerpieces can be rented separately). Katie from Katie Jacobs Photography also joined us to put together the vision and took the wonderful photos.

Thank you Jessica Brose from Main Street Linen ( and Katie Jacobs ( for the amazing photos.

Happy Anniversary!

Happy ONE Year Strong to ALL of our 2015 Couples – Click HERE for a short tribute video!

After 6 months of renovations, we opened the banquet doors on March 28, 2015 for our first wedding in our new space. For our 2015 season, we had 28 brave couples who were married at Chantilly National.

These couples will always have a special place in our hearts. They all were brave and took a risk – there’s always risks when renovations are involved. Our couples took tours in the old ballroom, some toured while renovations were going, some were even were required to wear hard hats.  Our 2015 couples saw that vision and believed in us and to this day, we can’t thank you enough.

This 3 minute video will show you some of our favorite moments from the year.  We hope that these photos bring back a few memories for every one of you. They sure do for us, it was an honor to be part of each one of your days. Hope this year was amazing and cheers to the many more years to come! Our First Post – Our First Wedding

Chantilly National Golf & Country Club has been a wedding venue in the area for years.  However, the winter of 2014, we went through a major construction.  Kim & Sung came to Chantilly National wanting to have a wedding on March 28, 2015.  We were a little nervous because we were in the middle of renovations but after talking to our construction team, they PROMISED the ballroom would be ready…and it was.  Just days before the couple came to see where we were in construction and we were still putting carpet down, painting and hanging light fixtures.  I was nervous to show them the room but we walked into the Ballroom and Kim looked at me and said: “OH it is almost READY!”.  I must have taken the biggest sigh of relief because I knew it was going to be ready on time but to show a Bride a room still being painted days before the wedding, that was NOT the reaction I expected.  Mr. & Mrs. Chu, thank you for being the BEST first wedding couple we could have ever had at the NEW Chantilly National Golf & Country Club!
